Drive ur slot car like the champion u r. Slide from one track to another and then back again. Pick up bonus money which u can then use to upgrade ur car. Oh, yes, don't forget the most important thing of all - don't hit the other cars on the track... hitting them, will end ur race and limit the money u have to upgrade afterwards.
