Buckle yourself in because this story is an emotional rollercoaster...
Once upon a time
there was a boy. And this boy dreamed of being the best game designer in the whole wide entire world universe. He worked and he worked and he worked for let's say... a decade, until he became a young man.
He worked so hard in fact that he managed to make a living from his art! Then one day, everything changed. More and more, he began to see new games popping up, each one removing more and more player agency until... all that was required to play was to click. Just click. Click. and CLICK.
The young man was super duper confused. He began to question what constituted a 'game'. Had he wasted all those years practising and improving his work... only for *this* to be what people wanted? So the young man decided he would challenge himself.
He began on the monday, and by the 7th day it was so. "My first idle game" the boy said to himself, probably with some menacing green light reflecting off his face. "Now I'll finally get the recognition I deserve... muha. muhaha."
