Gameplay
In Yacht you have 5 dice that you can roll up to 3 times each round to get a scoring combination which should be put into your score sheet. If you wish to keep one or more dice between rolls you can click them to hold. You can also use F1-F5 to hold and Esc to unhold all dice. There are 13 score fields, divided on an upper and a lower section. The upper section contains 1's through 6's and each field should be filled with as many of the dice as possible, if you manage to fill each field with at least 3 of each die or a combined score of 63 you will receive an additional 35 points as a bonus. In the lower field you can fill in 3-of-a-kind, 4-of-a-kind, Full House (3-of-a-kind + a pair), Small Straight (4 dice in a row), Large Straight (5 dice in a row), Chance (combine all the dice) and of course the most valuable Yacht (5-of-a-kind).

Large Straight 40p
Chance Sum of all dice
Yacht 50p

If you score additional Yachts you will receive a 100p bonus for each extra. In addition to this you can use it as a wildcard on all lower section fields as long as you've already filled in the correlating upper section field (example. if you get a second Yacht of 3's and already filled in the upper section 3's you may use it as wildcard for the Large Straight).
At all times you can move your cursor above the score sheet to see how many points you will get for your current dice on the selected score field.
There are two different modes in yacht: Timed and Non-compete. In timed play you play against the other players in the room (each round is timed, so hurry up) and in non-compete you will play in your own pace and only trying to beat your own high-score.
In timed game a new game will start automatically after each showdown but in non-compete you must click the Reset button after each game to start anew (your current score will be stored if it's a high-score)

At any time chat messages may be written by typing on the keyboard, the chat messages are sent to the other players by pressing the return key.

Every Yacht game is 5, 10 or 15 minutes (only the private games can be 5 and 15 minutes). The player with the highest score at the end of the game is the winner. If you are a registered member the highest score you have received will be stored after a game is over. Depending on several factors you will also receive (or lose) ranking points after a game if you are in a timed game. Beware, if you log out of a game already running you will lose the same amount of ranking points as losing the game. However if you enter a game that is nearly finished and don't wish to lose ranking you have a short time to get out of the room without losing ranking.

Game Settings
There is a tab called settings in the lobby that allows you to turn the in-game music on/off as well as the sound effects. There is also a new beta feature where you can allow friends from your buddy list to enter your private games without filling in a password. If you select a private game created by a buddy who have this setting you can just click enter password to unlock the game.
