Death Row Diner, a game for your inner lunch lady, assuming your inner lunch lady likes serving hardened criminals who get stabby when they get hungry. Take control of the cafeteria and try to maintain a little order, or you'll be mopping blood off the floor!
Death Row Diner is controlled entirely with the mouse.
To play, click various locations on the screen to make the lunchlady move there and perform a task. Your job in this game is to serve, seat and clean up after a variety of inmate types at a maximum-security penitentiary. Do it quickly, or your customers will break out brawling (which could end in a bloodbath).
Serve food - Click on the type of grub your prisoner customers request. You can only serve the group closest to the counter.
Seat prisoners - After you've served a group of convicts, you must use the mouse to click and drag the group onto an empty table to seat them.
Clean tables - Once a table's done eating (and as long as they haven't requested anything additional), click on it to collect the empty trays. Click on the sink in the upper right corner of the screen to drop them off.
Serve more food to demanding prisoners - Some groups of inmates will ask for more grub. You've got burgers and turkey legs - click on the item to grab it, and click on the table that requested it to deliver it.
Use both hands - You can use both hands to pick up trays, use the mop to clean up bloodied tables or serve additional food. For example, if two tables are requested burgers, you can click on the burgers twice to put burgers in both hands before going to serve them. If you have a group of trays in one hand you can serve one table additional food with the other.
Queue up tasks - You don't have to wait for the lunchlady to finish moving to one spot before telling her to go somewhere else. Click on multiple tasks in a row and she'll complete them in order.
Drop items you picked up by mistake - If you picked up burger or turkey leg by mistake, click on the sink in the upper right corner of the screen to drop off any food items in your hand.
Break up fights - If the inmates get angry enough (their anger gauge will flash red for a short time), a fight will break out. Click on the brawling customers to break it up and ease their anger slightly. Not breaking it up in time will put a fatality on your record. Three deaths in one day and you fail!
Combine prisoners - You can seat two groups of two inmates at a table for four, just drag the second group onto the half-filled table. NOTE: You can't break up a group of four, so make sure you have enough spots before combining parties.
Mop up - If a fight breaks out and blood is spilled, you should clean it up before seating another group at that table or the prisoners won't be pleased. Drop the mop back off at the bucket to free up one of your hands.
Use contraband - In later levels, some prisoners will leave behind contraband literature. Use these on groups of inmates to ease their anger when they're about to explode.
Keep the warden happy - At the end of each week the warden will visit your fine-prison-dining establishment. He'll request certain types of food - serve them to him quickly or he'll get angry, and you won't like him when he's angry.
